Founded in 1966, the Bethel Historical Society is open year-round and offers more than a dozen period rooms and exhibit galleries. The museum and library collections offers a wide range of materials documenting the rich heritage of northern New England. Lectures, courses, special exhibits, craft demonstrations, and educational activities for both members and the general public are offered throughout the year.
